What a day! NickFest 2007 lived up to its billing:
An event for all ages. More than a thousand adults, teens,
and children enjoyed the fun, games, food, music and entertainment.
There were many games and attractions, from Climbing-wall and
Euro-bungee to Cash-cube and Jumbo-slide. No matter what your
sport, there was a way to test your skill: Golf long-drive, Lacrosse
toss, Football toss, Basketball, Frisbee and Radar pitch. The
Petting-zoo was another major attraction as was the Celebrity
Dunk Tank and Mechanical Bull.
The first ever Wolfeboro Idol competition attracted
talented contestants of all ages, and provided first-rate entertainment
throughout the day. Local band International Toast was on hand
along with various musical friends to provide live music.
The Nick team was in overdrive to serve up a nonstop
stream of burgers, hot-dogs, sausages, slushies, cold drinks,
popcorn, chips, iced-coffee, etc. etc.
