Supporting WARA
WARA is a not-for-profit 501(c)(3) charitable
organization, dedicated to providing recreational resources
to the greater Wolfeboro community, primarily through operation
of The Nicholas J Pernokas Recreation Park ("The Nick").
The operating budget is funded primarily through the ongoing
generosity of individuals and businesses throughout the user
community. Donations of any amount, at any time, are needed
and appreciated.
Contributions may be made to support the current
year operations (Annual Fund), to support the long term fiscal
health of the organization ("Board Designated Fund"),
or to support capital improvement of the park facilities (Capital
Fund). Contributions not directed to one of these three categories
will be applied to the Annual Fund.
In addition, memorial bricks may be purchased,
to be set into the paving at the base of the flag pole adjacent
to the heart-of-the-park area. Contact
